Snap to Calendar · Effective July 23, 2026
Snap to Calendar is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no sign-ins, and no user database.
Photos you scan
- When you snap or choose a photo, it is sent over an encrypted connection to our processing service, which uses an AI model to read the events on it.
- Photos are processed transiently and are not stored on our servers. Location metadata (EXIF) is removed before upload.
- The events the AI reads are shown to you for review and saved only on your device and into your own Apple Calendar — never on our servers.
Your calendar
- The app adds only the events you approve, to the calendar you choose. It never reads, changes, or shares events it didn't create.
What we don't do
- No accounts, no profiles, no advertising, no selling of data, no third-party analytics of your content.
- We keep anonymous, per-device usage counts (number of scans) solely to enforce the free tier and prevent abuse.
Purchases
- Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases; it receives an anonymous device identifier, never your name or Apple ID.
Diagnostics
- The app may send anonymous crash reports and error diagnostics so we can fix problems. These contain technical data only, never your photos or calendar contents.
